Privacy & cookies

This site belongs to KT Gas & Heating, a plumbing and heating business in Hucknall, Nottingham. If anything below is unclear, or you want to know what we hold about you, email contact@ktgasandheating.co.uk and we’ll sort it out.

The booking form

When you send the form on the contact page, what you type — your name, phone number and anything else you fill in — is emailed straight to our own inbox. We use it to call you back about the job and for nothing else. We don’t sell it, share it with marketers or add you to any mailing list, and we don’t keep it once it’s no longer needed to deal with your enquiry or the work that comes from it.

If you message us on WhatsApp instead, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under their own terms, like any other WhatsApp chat.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies at all. The only cookies involved are Google’s, and they only get set if you press Allow cookies on the banner. They tell us which of our Google adverts actually led to an enquiry, which stops us wasting money on ones that don’t — that’s the whole job they do.

If you press No thanks, no advertising cookies are set. Google still receives anonymous, cookie-free counts so our advert totals roughly add up, but nothing that identifies you or follows you around.

Your answer is remembered in your own browser, not on our server. To change your mind, use the Cookie choices link at the bottom of any page and the banner will ask again.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal details we hold about you, ask us to correct them or ask us to delete them — email contact@ktgasandheating.co.uk and we’ll do it. If you think we’ve handled your details badly and we haven’t put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
